Born and raised in the suburbs of Nassau County, Long Island, Jason Liebman is a professional guitarist, vocalist and songwriter whose credits include having played with musical icons and notable national artists including Lou Reed and Rachael Yamagata, as well as composing and performing his own original music for his own commercially-released albums, as well as for various films and both network and cable television.

An alumnus of Stecher and Horowitz’s classical guitar study program, Jason is a highly sought-after session musician and touring and performance musician, as well as a private guitar teacher and guitar collector with a deep love of the instrument.  It is his own background in formal musical training which has allowed him to develop a second career as one of Long Island’s most popular private guitar instructors.
