Pianist ESTHER PARK (2002 NYIPC) has performed as a soloist with orchestras and in solo recitals across the United States as well as Asia and Europe. She has appeared with the Houston Symphony, Yale Philharmonia, Filharmonia Pomorska, Orchestra Filarmonica, Shanghai Philharmonic, Juilliard Symphony and the New Jersey Symphony.
In addition to performances at major performance venues around the world, Ms. Park has appeared at the Music Academy of the West, the Aspen Music Festival, the Tel-Hai International Music Festival in Israel, and the Van Cliburn Institute in Texas. She has been heard in New York on WQXR Radio as the winner of the 52nd Kosciusko International Competition and is the recipient of President Clinton’s Prodigy Award.
Born in Pusan, Korea, Ms. Park moved to the United States in 1995 to study in the Juilliard School’s Pre-College division, later receiving her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree from the school. Ms. Park continued her studies at the Hochschule fur Musik und Theater (Hannover, Germany) and is currently an Artist Diploma candidate at the Yale School of Music.
